"You may now kiss the bride."

 

The chapel rang with applause and tears as Edward Elric leaned forward and kissed his new wife, Koda, on the lips. The two were so in love it was almost sickening, but yet everyone came to their wedding. Tears were shed. Smiles were worn. Happiness was aplenty.

 

But this story isn't about them.

It's about me.

 

Hi, my name is Alphonse Elric, the younger brother of Edward Elric.

 

Everybody knows the story of how Brother met Koda, and how the two were brought together by some divine force. He calls it interest. She calls it God. Whatever it may be, everyone knows about how he knocked her up and then asked her to marry him.

Everybody knows that.

But nobody knows my story.

That's why I'm here.

 

Today, my friends, I'm going to tell you the story of how I, Alphonse Elric, met Ayumi Shukketsu and fell desperately in love with her. It's a story of sadness, joy, romance, and tragic loss.

 

But more importantly, it's a story NOT about Brother.

I just HAD to laugh when he said that Ed knocked Koda up and then asked her to marry him. I don't know why I did, but it just struck me as funny. I love Al and I love your stories, so both together... I can't even think of how awesome that is. I must read more of this. ^^

Excellent idea for a story. Oh, in the third line from the top "almost sickening, but yet everyone came...", you should probably choose "but" or "yet", but not both. It just sounds better.
