Hummmm....!!

As the coroner’s report was read

The courtroom became strangely quiet

A great fat egg up on a high stone wall

Why would that damn fool thing try it

 

Cousteau, who'd been assigned to this case

In an effort to find a clue

Had actually, climbing up that very wall

And found there abuncha homebrew

 

Seems Humpty’d ‘got the habit’

Having acquired a real serious taste

And when he reached over to grab it

Unfortunately, lost balance in his drunken haste

 

Hummmm, murmured the Judge

Jury and court murmuring hummmm too

With each of the throng wanting to get

Hands on some of that tasty homebrew
