Flashback

Middle of night Jack woke saturated in sweat

It nearly gave Jill a heart-attack

‘What the hell’s the matter!” she screamed

“It’s the hill, that damn hill, I had a flashback!”

 

“Remember that ‘tumbling after’ thingy,

Remember? It was right after I broke my crown

“Oh, yes, yes, then we hired the cow to bring water down

But instead, he jumped over the moon!!!!”

“Stupid bleeping Cow!!!”

“For sure, what an absolute freeking mess it was

And they are expecting us to bring even more down!”

Looking deeply into each others eyes

Each one formed their most desperate frown

 

Jill’s bedclothes had sagged somewhat loose

Reminding Jack that she was still in her prime

And even tho’ it would mess up the rhyme

He figured she could make lotsa dough as a model

 

Not long after, Jill became ultra popular and mega rich

Allowing her to flattened ‘the hill’ with a monster earth mover

Then they left their miserable, one room shack in Manitoba

To buy a fabulous waterfront mansion in beautiful Vancouver
