Sorrows-Troilet

Sorrows-Troilet

A Chapter by Wondering Mind

how sorrows rape my helpless smiles

and darkness drapes my lonely days

a lost soul walking miles and miles

how sorrows rape my hopeless smiles

frayed and torn from tearing trials

and endless wait for shinning rays

how sorrows rape my hopeless smiles

and darkness drapes my lonely days

Dear Wondering Mind,

This is very nice indeed, and the Troilet form is so seldom used. And the use of the word "rape" is wonderfully descriptive.

Fine work. High marks.

Best regards,

Rick
