Mesanth the fierce was a legend come true.
Joining the army at 12 years old he became a general by the age of 17.
Even thought he was from the royal family he didn't think it beneath
himself to help the general populace.
Being crowned king of an island near the border of Anguis and Solaris
was a hard task for him.
Even if everyone accepted him for his royal blood being a half demon
earned him great criticism from the populace who were influenced by the people of Solaris.
He worked hard on his reputation and for his people
but still couldn't expel all the criticism in court.
When he was 20 Solaris, after 3 years of observing his reign,
invited him for a meeting with the chieftains of the cities who laid near the borders.
He spends a whole year convincing these people that he wasn't a terrible demon but
a king who cared for his people even thought
most of them hated or feared him for his origins and power.
On his way back to his castle he came across the Tenebris Silva, the dark forest.
It was the only place in the whole continent of Solaris that harbored demonic beast
and you could literally feel the force of darkness coming from this forest.
Something in him felt compelled to stop at this forest and so he ordered
his men to set up their camp near the forest while he would explore the outskirts of it.
Distancing himself from his men and moving into the forest he
started to feel somebody watching him.
As he started to feel paranoid, since he couldn't see anybody,
he spotted a movement in the woods.
Slowly following this shadow he started to make out he was lead
to a little self-made shelter in the middle of the woods.
Hiding at the entrance he waited until the person who was the owner of the shelter appeared.
Just as this person was about to leave the shelter he tackled it to the ground.
It led out a surprised cry and started to fight and struggle with him to
free itself until he firmly held its arm over its head and captured her legs with his, holding it down.
When the struggle ended he could finally see that the creature was a
woman, an elven woman to be correct but she was severely malnourished and very dirty.
He knew a bit of elvish , for diplomatic reasons, and so he tried to talk to her
but she started to behave like a wild animal again.
Having enough of this farce and remembering that he was out for more than three hours
following this woman he used his own shirt to bind her arms together
threw her over his shoulder and following his own sense walked through the woods
back to the camp to reassure his panicked soldier's which were waiting for him.
They were all shocked seeing their king bare-chested with a creature slung
over his shoulder walking back to his tent.
Before he went into his tent he commanded a soldier with the earth and water
affinity to make him a big bath where at least two people could fit in.
Since he had the fire affinity he could warm it himself but the bath had to be made
by somebody else.
Securing her in his tent , bound to wooden stake he went out again to oversee
the making of the bath right behind his tent and to order every soldier
to vacant the surrounding area.
After the bath was ready he kind of dreaded going into his own tent to retrieve
the woman but she made him the decision very easy, as she freed herself and ran
out of the tent while she contemplated her next step only to end up in his arms.
Catching her without thinking he grabbed her and threw er into the bath jumping in
after her and holding her tied.
After over an hour of struggling, because this woman acted like a cat with water scratching his face and body, she was finally clean and he stared at her
exhausted but very beautiful face and thought to himself
'She is mine, I can't let anyone else have her '.
After taking her back to the tent careful as to not show anyone her face,
he started again to try and talk to her.
Understanding that she couldn't talk or at least forgot how he decided
by himself to teach her again and to treasure her so that she would never again
end in the state he found her in .
Just before he went to sleep with her in his arms, of course after
another long battle and with her totally exhausted, he gave her a name.
He named her Emerthelil.
