Chapter 5

      I wake up in a hospital bed. My head is killing me. I look around. No one is here with me. I didn't expect my parents to be here anyways. I looked at the clock on the wall. It read four-thirteen p.m.. I kinda firgured that my parents were out getting drunk by now. One of the doctors came into the room. " Oh, your finally awake. " She said surprisingly. " How do you feel? "

     " Fine. My head hurts a lot, though. " I repleid.

     " Yea. It's probubly going to for a while. Here's some medicine you can take to relieve some of the pain. "

     " Thank you. "

     I took my medicine, then lied back down in my bed. It was all coming back to me. School. Free period. My boy friend. I wonderd to myself if he had gotten caught, or if he had jst told everyone I fell on the ice. I wasn't sure. I rubbed my forehead. It killed when I barley even touched it. I got up to use the bathroom. After all that time I was unconsious, my blatter was cleary completely full.

     I looked in the mirror before I got back in bed. Most of my right side of my face was all black and blue. It hurt. As I examined my injury, I felt a tear roll down my cheek. I keep thinking about before the accident. What he had said to me. What he had promised to me...

    I was hurt. Bad.
