Instinct

Instinct

A Chapter by Shy Joe

Sex and lust is primal. It's second nature to the same needs as hunger is cured by eating. You grow and evolve these needs out of necessity. You need them to live and grow our species.

Compassion is not, but it makes it all worth it. Necessities come and go. Compassion stays with you and fuels your drive. It gives you a higher purpose than just survival. When that leaves you, or you lose it, you can still perform the necessities. But that's all they are. Then you're just surviving.

Maybe humans don't have the advantage that we can think and reason...maybe just acting out of need and nature's calling would be so much easier.
we think about starting wars, fighting with others...animals only do that for survival...only on instinct.
I used to act much more on instinct than i do now.
