When I land in England I text Liam. What's Harry's address? Why? I'm in England... Oh. He gives it to me and I get in a cab, paying with my converted money. We reach his flat and I stand in front of the door, afraid to knock. But I do, and the door opens. And there stands a naked Harry with a pillow in front of him, and behind him, on the couch, is a naked girl. “Connor?!” He squeaks. But tears are already running down my face. “What are you doing here?” He asks. “Harry, who is she?” The girl asks, a Spanish accent contorting her words. “That's what I'd like to know, Harry? Who am I to you? You told me you couldn't be without me, and now you're having sex with some girl?” “You're everything to me!” He says. “She says differently!” I gesture to the girl. “I missed you! I was sad! I needed something to keep you off my mind.” He says. The girl is in a white, fluffy robe now and she stalks up to him. “Is that all I was to you? Something?” The girl says and then slaps him, then leaves. I follow after her, tears running down my face, and he follows, now in pants. “Connor! Wait!” “No! I'm going home! Or I would, if my plane ticket had been round trip! I left my life to come here, I'm taking school online, I've moved out of my parents house, to come here and make things right with you only to find you whoring around with some girl! Thanks a lot, shows how much you care about me. And you always said not to objectify women.” I turn away but he grabs my arm and leans in to kiss me. “Don't kiss me! I know where that mouth has been now.” I run away, tears streaming down my face. I call the first person I can think of, and after a while, Liam pulls up. He gets out of the car and wraps me in a hug, I cry into his shirt.
Liam
I knew about Harry and Maria. And I feel horrible, knowing that I sent Connor to see that. I was hoping maybe she'd just stop liking him, not be so heart broken. I thought she was just visiting, not that she actually moved a few blocks away from Harry with roommates. We get in my car and she gives me her new address, and I drive slowly, much to the dismay of the cars behind me, to give her time to calm down. We reach her flat building and I walk her to her door, carrying one of her bags. “Thanks, Liam, you're a great friend.” She says and walks into her flat. Ooo. Friendzoned. I'll never get out of this.
Connor
“Hi, I'm Connor.” I smile holding out my hand to my new roommate. “Connor? As in, the Connor?” She asks. “Like, the Connor who knows One Direction personally?” She squeals. “Um... yeah. How did you know?” She puts her hands on her hips and shifts her weight to one side, “There aren't many girls named Connor in the world. That and we have a peep hole, and Liam brought up one of your bags.” she then looks closely at my face. “Have you been crying? Are you homesick?” “Um, that's a story for another time.” I smile. “Oh! I forgot, I'm Veronica, but call me Ronnie. Boy names, unite!” She laughs, holding out her fist. I bump hers with mine. “Okay, its another time, why were you crying?” She asks, sitting down on the futon. I decide to tell her. But I manage not to cry again. Her hands are over her mouth, and she's practically crying for me, when there's a knock at the door. “Connor?” A deep male, British voice asks. “Connor, nothing had happened, I swear!” “YET!” I yell back. “Is that Harry Styles?” Ronnie mouths, pointing toward the door like its going to explode.
