A Fountain of Love

A Fountain of Love

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Random scribbles. Experimenting with creating images...

"

Erupting horizons ... dreams

rainbow colours ... engulfed

merged in your colours ~ my life.

Scattered thoughts ... submerged,

in oceanic depths --- now emerges

~ a fountain of love.

I felt the start was like the visual metaphors that movies employ to convey 'la petite mort' (champange bottle popping and foam over-flowing anyone?) but the depth of the form increased aptly, with the depth of the sea. I saw thermal vents of words spewing forth and supporting life from the cold recesses of the ocean.
If this was an exercise in creating images then you did it well Yumna. :)

Equating the ocean to depths really compounds the emotive feeling this gives your reader. Its brevity makes it shine!
