Anata no iro ni
(I colour myself in your colours)

Colour me life,
in hues of orange,
that of the setting sun;
I am a (wo)man yet to be defeated.

Colour me life,
in hues of brown,
that of his eyes;
I breathe myself into oblivion.

Colour me life,
in hues of green,
of meadows we dreamt
of making our resting spot.

Colour me life,
in hues of crimson;
I inhale the wisps
of wistful memories.

reminds me of an old Petula Clark song called "Color my world"
life is full of song and color and songs expressing how colors make such impressions of our moods.
we live a life of making memories...and then later on...those seem to be all we have left...

Unique and one of the best poems I've read on colours. I truly liked the way you described every colour which reminded you of that person.
