My Heart Sings

My Heart Sings

A Chapter by Dr. YumnaKay
"

Experimental... trying to write something happy... don't know if it worked :P

"

~ my heart sings ~

a beautiful melody, unheard of, until now, a foreign language,

the sound of it like a chime falling onto my up til wandering ears

trickling water, scent of the first summer rain ...

a deep breath, my nostrils filled with the cooling air that surrounds me,

the musical notes opening their arms wide ~ embracing ... and I give in ---

~ my heart sings ~

Ah, I'm glad you find it beautiful! :)
Thank you, Gullia.
You succeeded, my face aches with smiles. Beautiful phrasing, musically descriptive. You've created a work of art to match the illustration! Well done indeed. I exit, my heart singing too.

Thank you for this lovely review! I'm glad you like it 😊
this worked....but made me realize that "happy"
seems a foreign language for my pen....

we write sad so much more easily, don't we?

So very true. I think we writers dwell more on sadness than reasoning with being happy... Thank you .. read more
A great piece with wonderful imagery, I quite enjoyed this piece, very cheerful! Complete opposite of the one I'm working on lol

Thank you. I'm glad you felt the positive vibes here 😊
This is how a positive and happy poem looks like... 😀
I really liked the way there was no cause mentioned for a person's happiness but the person was just happy for no reason..that's a nice message...I really liked it...

I think it's better to try being happy for no reasons than to search for one 😉

Then you're the first person I brought a smile to today haha 😛 I'm glad of that 😊😇
Imagery worked here along with emotions....they are different emotions makes one feel happy and to smile unconsciously.....I enjoyed it....:)
