Chapter Twenty-One: Jomo Falx

Neptune 43 May 24th

It’s been three days since Arx got captured. I still have nothing to do. Nothing to do. No tasks, no bounties--

The phone rings. Hungry for some action, I almost slip and fall when I go to grab it.

“Yes?” The number is familiar, probably one of the more common corporations I hunt for.

“We have a bounty for you,” a droning voice says. Behind the phone, I jump up and down and pump my fist in the air. “How much?” I ask.

The droning voice states the money and my bounty. “Calypsa Rosemarie Swindlehurst. A bounty hunter as well, and is currently located on Neptune 43, though that might change soon. We request you capture her and bring her to Mars 7.”

“Thanks,” I say, and then I hang up. This bounty will be easy, although I know from other bounty hunters she’s hard to catch. I can outsmart her, though. I pack up a few gadgets and go.
