Poem 57. POINTS AT ISSUE

Poem 57. POINTS AT ISSUE

A Chapter by Daisie Vergara (Dhaye)
"

too many questions

"

Lying in her bed, she remembers when it all begun

The days she talks to him, the nights she reads his mind

But life is full of questions that she can’t really understand

So many points at issue on the things if truths or lies.

If she believes in him in all things he has said and done

Could she get what is fair in life that is not so fine?

If she accepts the lies like truths within her mind

Could he send back the thing she has now in her heart?

If she shows him her life, the life that’s full of thorns

Could he offer his hands, could he take the pain at all?

If she forgets the song that leads her in her past

Could he sing her his ode with memories that last?

If she take all the risks and tries to run to him

Could he give her the life she created in her dreams?

If he would turn away while she cries in the rain

Could she change now the truth, he’s never been to her?

Yes, life is full of questions that she can’t really understand

So many points of issue on the things when one’s in doubt.

And yet she’ll finally see, it’s just all in her mind

The real point that she only sees a thing that never was…

We must accept the love as is. I tell people. You can't change people. If you fall in love with someone. Love the one that is already complete in strength and their weaknesses. I enjoyed the poem. The questions of love leave us wondering what is true or not. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

We are always haunted by questions. Sometimes we have to just clear our mind and really look at things the way they are - Not the way we think they are. We can ask ourselves a thousand questions and answer each a thousand times but we will never know the true answer until we actually take a chance and do it, especially with people and relationships.

You expressed this beautifully, Dhaye!

Dahye you deserve all the love and warmth that life could offer.
This is beautifully romantic.
You pour out your heart so willingly...a warm heart...full of hope and kindness.

My admiration my dear.

Sometimes we have so many questions but few answers and solutions. Humans are so curious and desirable so they need them now and then. That is where patience comes in the picture and keep us from going fast and hard in our demises or big holes...Thinking and feeling the right feelings before leaping are very important too...Bravon another great write...:).......
