Karmatic Overdrive

He had been fired and this was his chance to make sure they knew he hated them. 

The ride up the elevator didn't seem as long as he thought it would and, at first, no one looked when the doors opened. When he started yelling, they looked. They looked when he grabbed his old boss around the neck and put the gun to his forehead. They all were watching when the gun didn't go off. Broken. Stupid. Old gun. They all laughed when his boss said, "This is why we fired you."
