She undressed and stood in front of me. 

Her n*****s were dark and her eyes were on fire. 

I could have completely devoured her in that moment.

they're right.. the "could have" gives a world to three lines.. powerful and evocative

You should have. I know these are all short, but this one in particular is really short. Three simple lines give enough to last a page.

I like this one. There is something about the "could have" that makes me think that it's very possible the subject did not act upon their initial reaction.
