Tractor Pull

She said she was a farm hand. I asked her what that meant. 

She spoke about how she picks up the manure. Bails hay. The usual. 

I told her she didn't seem like the type that would pick up manure. 

She laughed and I bit her finger playfully. I still can't get the taste out of my mouth.

i love the ambiguousness of the final line.. does she taste yummy? does she taste like poo? or, does she taste like poo, but he finds it yummy simply because it is her?? gorgeous idea davey-love

Did it taste like manure? I can just picture this transaction in my head. That's what I like about your writing I think; it doesn't spell everything out, but the subtle suggestions and the use of language say everything.
