For You While You Sit There

For You While You Sit There

A Chapter by DavidRyanM

He wrote his feelings out on a piece of paper
and pushed it across the table to her. "Don't read it,"
he said. "Not yet. Wait until you're completely alone."
She agreed. Later that night, after getting ready for bed,
she lied down and pulled the covers up to her neck. When
she saw what was on the page, she pulled the blankets
passed her head and wished he was there.

You're giving my heart that ache-y feeling. It's wonderful and horrible at the same time. It's romantic, with the hint of secrecy. I want to know what was on the page...

Your first line is almost like a wager, or gamble. Putting yourself out there. Hoping for something that might risk vulnerability.

ah this is.. well, it gives those secret sort of squidgey tummy feelings of uncomfortable happiness. it's beautiful, and painful and filled with that innocent vulnerable word "hope"

Kind of adorable. I know there's a romantic in you somewhere.
