This is a previous version of Chapter 5.
"We'll meet outside at the usual place during lunch." Ordered Janet. We all nodded in agreement to her plan and then seperated from eachother. But of course we weren't going to class. I stopped by my locker and pulled out a cigar. Either Janet or Alyssa were already going to be in the girls bathroom. And I was right. As soon as I opened the door I saw that both Janet and Alyssa were already filling the bathroom with a thick fog. "Glad you could make it Paige!" Said Alyssa blowing a circle of smoke my way. I nodded and held out the cigar towards Janet, the one with the lighter. She understood without me saying anything and lit the cigar to life. I stuck it in my mouth and leaned against the green tiled wall. "Hey Paige why don't you talk?" asked Alyssa. Her words caught me off gaurd making me stop short. Everyone today seemed to be asking me that question. And honestly it was starting to piss me off. But I answered her, mentally. I don't speak becaue no words can express how I feel inside. Words seem pointless to me. And no one will ever understand my pain and suffering through words. Unless they can read my thoughts they will never understand. "Honestly Paige its not healthy." Alyssa's voice shattered my mental answer. I glared at her and she shut up. We all stayed silent and smoked our cigars. I dropped the butt of the cigar on the ground and crushed it with my foot. I gave Janet a look and she said "We better go" for me. "Fine. I guess, we'll t- uh see ya later Paige." I knew Alyssa was going to say that we were going to talk later but she knew it wasn't true. I nodded and we all left together. Janet and Alyssa headed off to History while I had Spanish. We parted our ways and headed down opposite directions. When I walked into Spanish class Mrs. Ericks gave me a cold glare that could slash through steel. I took a seat at the far end left corner at the back of the room. I slid into the seat and slowly put my text book on my desk. Then I concked out Words are meaningless. For they cannot express emotions fully. Words are empty and can be lies. Words are empty lies...
i love the idea of this story. it is great.. i dont totally agree with the poem, but it is still wonderful. good job! i wonder what happened to the main character before..
