Cofessing My Sin

I walked into my room, and immedietly slammed the door behind me. It was time for me to get ready for work. Being a military officer was no fun, especially with all the paperwork. Not to metion my boss is a very stuck up man. But no matter. I'm friends with a girl named Scheizca who helped me during my time of need. This is a good thing. This means that I'm not always stressed, so it stops me from throwing up all the time.

 

I threw on my uniform and put my hair in a ponytail. As I slipped on my boots, Winry's fist banged on my door.

"Hurry up! I ain't gonna wait all day!" Winry said after I didn't say anything.

 

I opened the door, and she stood there with a lunchbox in her hands. "Take this with you to work. You forgot it yesterday, remember?" she said. I smiled, then laughed nervously. "Y-Yeah. I'm sorry. Thank you very much Winry," I said as I took my lunchbox from her. Winry's face relaxed as she walked into my room and sat on the edge of my bed behind me. "Hey...you're still thinking about Ed, aren't you?" she said. I felt my face go red as I shook my head. "No...I'm actually thinking about how I'm going to take care of Al's teachings. I don't know anything about alchemy," I said as I threw on my jacket and turned to look at Winry. "If I mess it up, it could cost Al dearly. That's not what I want," I said. I swallowed hard.

 

"Anyways, I've accepted that Ed is probably gone forever. Even if he's not dead, he's still pretty busy. I'm not one to complain with that. But..." I said after a while. Winry looked at me funny. My face went red. "I...do..." I began before Grandma came up the stairs. "Havoc's here," she said. I smiled. "I'll finish this conversation later. Havoc is here to get me," I said. Winry looked shocked, then annoyed. "What were you going to tell me?! Tell me!" Winry begged as I walked out the door. I smiled.
