Chapter 65

Henrietta, Sabrina, Indigo, Summer and Priscilla in Indigo's living room. Summer is cuddled into Indigo's side. Henrietta says "Should we turn the TV down?"
Indigo says "No, that'll wake her up."
"Why don't you take her to bed?"
Sabrina says "If you try and move her, she'll lash out. Did she take her meds?"
Summer mumbles "Yes, mother."
Priscilla says "She's even cuter when she's asleep."
"Not asleep."
There's a knock on the door. Henrietta says "I'll get it."
Priscilla says "Who knocks on your door?"
Indigo says "Not you that's for sure."
Gaz and Ethan runs downstairs. Gaz says "Summer, wake up."
"Leave her alone."
"But it's really important. It's about Ethan."
Summer sits up suddenly and says "What is it?"
"Can I take him to a baseball game?"
"Really, Gaz? You made me think something had happened."
Sabrina says "Summer, that may be a good idea."
Sabrina motions her head behind Summer. Summer turns. "Fico."
Fico says "Summer. This lady says she your lawyer?"
Indigo looks and says "Meredith?"
Ethan says "Mommy, are you going away again?"
Summer says "No, I'm not."
"Are you in trouble?"
"No."
"Police and lawyers only come when you're in trouble. Fico's apoliceman and he said that lady's your lawyer."
Indigo says "I'm a lawyer, are you in trouble when I come see you?"
"No."
"You sure?"
"You're Mommy's friend and you're not mean."
Meredith says "I hope you don't think I'm mean, Ethan. I'm here to help your mommy."
"How do you know my name?"
"I'm Indigo's boss, and friend. Indigo talks about you a lot. She even has a picture you did in her office."
"Ok. I believe you." Ethan turns to Summer. "Can I go to the baseball game with Gaz? Please?"
Summer says "Just you two?"
Gaz says "Of course not. It's not a private game, Sums."
Summer glares at Gaz. Priscilla says "I'll go with them."
Indigo says "You will?"
"Sure. I'm guessing I shouldn't be here right now."
Henrietta says "l take them and pick them up if that's what's worrying you."
Summer says "Ok. Ethan, what are the rules?"
Ethan says "No booze, no girls and no bad words."
"And stay close to Gaz."
"Yes, Mommy."
"Gaz."
Gaz says "He'll be safe with me. You can call whenever you want. Indigo has my number." Summer nods. "Settled then. Big man, say your goodbyes. I'll get our stuff."
Ethan hugs Sabrina and says "Bye, Grams." Ethan runs and jumps on SUmmer. He gives her a hug and a kiss. "Don't worry, Mommy. I'll be a good boy."
Summer hugs Ethan and says "I know, son. Love you."
"Momma will look after you while I'm gone." Ethan looks at Indigo. "Right?"
Indigo says "Of course. Do I get a hug?"
Ethan hugs Indigo and gets off the couch. Gaz says "Ready?" Ethan holds Gaz's hand and nods. "See you guys soon."
Gaz and Ethan head to the door. Henrietta says. "Goodbye. Will I be seeing you all SUnday?"
Indigo says "I'll call."
Henrietta nods and heads for the door. Priscilla stands up and says "I guess I'm off too, Momma."
"Shut up."
Priscilla kisses Indigo's cheek. "It suits you." Priscilla kisses Summer's forehead. "I'll look after your prince, Princess."
Summer says "Thanks."
Priscilla leaves with Gaz, Ethan and Henrietta. Fico says "May we sit?"
Indigo says "Certainly."
Summer says "Let's get this over with."
