Poem 2. THE BEST WORKS

Some of my favorite works from different writers/poets

A writer is remembered in his best piece

And so I say I won’t forget all of these:

 

Sir Joe’s “Act VI”  is a realization

Going back to the real self, an inspiration.

 

Maryanne’s “Satyrid”, a wonderful poem

On the wings of love, oh you are truly home.

 

Ms. Belle’s “Stigma”, a real eye-opener

There’s much beauty unseen by the beholder.

 

Gabrielle’s “Conquered”, a strong piece you should know

Falling’s never be that fearful thing to do.

 

Marc Marlon’s “Box Rain Dark” got my attention

Space, empty room, box, life with no direction.

 

Pax's "Wounds of My Past" really reminds me

That any wound can be healed so don't worry.

 

I’m proud to tell Ency Bearis’ creation:

“Beautiful Mount Mayon But Like A Dragon”.

 

Sami  Khalil’s “Facets of One”, so great

Where all things are connected, he states.

 

Tuvi’s best “Just One More Time” clearly explains

The wanting for love’s second chance is so great.

 

Tate Morgan’s “A Mother’s Love” also tells us

How deep is that love, forever it will last.

 

Vikrantsingh’s “Love Of My Life” is passionate

With his love, her dearest wife’s so fortunate.

 

Jack’s romantic "Angel" poem you’ll ever read

Will make your heart beat fast, will not make you bleed.

There are lots of pieces I want to mention

But it seems I am drowned in my emotion.

 

As Dhaye, what’s the best work that I could offer?

I don’t know, I’m just a passionate writer.

Kept wondering....who.who...whooo..???
Then I came across Tate's name and said Oh....us....
Well not really us...alas, I'm not on the list
but nevertheless what a unique idea and poem....and kind gesture (even though I'm not in it..:)
Did a good job Dhaye with rhyme (especially near rhymes) and cadence
flowed nicely and kept my interest throughout....even though you forgot me

Hey, Allen. It's been a long time since I've read your inspiring review. Lol

If you just read my response to Frieda's review, you'll know how much I love to make this longer because I like so many works by other writers here...but I fear that it would look boring. So I decide to stop upon making the 15th couplet. I wish I could make BEST WORKS 2 so that I can incude your "Dark Corner" which I can't forget also. See, I remember that piece I have read I think 1 or 2 months ago.

Pax brought this poem to my inbox, so I was able to read this I think a day after your publication, but bear with me teacher if it took me so long to acknowledge the importance you have given to my literary piece. Please just understand that there is always a reason for everything.

So it is my Stigma that touched you the most.
When I pen that, I was all the way thinking of our own race as part of the Occident, so it is truly fulfilling to know that someone from my country is keeping the message of the poem close to her heart. And thank you for this wonderful tribute! More baddas poetry from all of us!

This is a good way of letting your friends know how effective they are to you as writers which for me is an honor. As of the poem, it has good flow and great rhyming scheme.
