Thought provoking... makes me think about anything addictive. Love is blind, and we may not realize the things that are not good for us (the enemy). This is my perception of this piece... Great write

you pick out a very insightful irony that I may have experienced in the past but never really thought deeply about, the relationship between love and hate is a funny one, when you think about it they are crossing over each other constantly. hatred for the sake of hate does need an enemy or it wouldn't exist, it survives on the blindness, that is the part of ignorance. while love, the nature of love is undiscriminating, and anyone can fall victim to it, very curious thoughts you provoke with this piece.

your poem is short and has very deep meaning to it and sometimes double meaning.
i enjoyed the simple imagery in this one which is true, isn't it ironic. :)
